Dear Paolo,
When I sweat during my workout, am I sweating away fat?

Dear Nancy,
You are sweating away fat and the more you sweat the better! I would recommend exercising in a room of a minimum of 100 degrees while wearing winter clothing. Some people think that you will get heat stroke if you do this. I say nonsense! Passing out during exercise is a great way to jump start the rest period afterward.

Dear Paolo,
What are stretches for people who don’t like to stretch?

Dear Phil,
Stretching can be a hassle sometimes so might I recommend having someone stretch you? During the Spanish Inquisition, accused heretics were often put on a device called “the rack” would pull on their limbs from every direction. Those who survived this reported feeling very loose and limber. If you can deal with potential dislocated joints, it’s something to look into.

Dear Paolo,
How do you attract men to group fitness class?

Dear Kate,
Men can be very difficult to understand so it depends what kind you are looking to attract. Moreover, it depends what region of the country you’re in. If you’re on the Atlantic coast, I recommend acid washed jeans and aquanet for each participant. For Midwesterners, entice them with cheese and bibles. For Southern men, a bottle of Jack Daniels and a copy of monster truck weekly. Lastly, for West Coast men, offer an all organic, non-fat, non-dairy, gluten-free, solar powered, chai, positive energy infused motivational tape. Hope this helps!
