Late at night, when crying myself to sleep doesn’t work, I stay up and read comics on the internet. Some comic strips like Family Circus or Mary Worth make for an enjoyable and wholesome read before bed. Wages Of Sin is not one of those comics. And while I understand it may be hard to compete with the comedic genius of Mary Worth, Wages Of Sin is a disgusting read that is obviously not suitable for children; and since I am a supporter of censorship, here are my six reasons why this comic strip should be banned.
1. Dirty Humor
Too often does this cartoon reference something that could be taken as innuendo, and I for one don’t think we can take that chance.
2. You Can’t Tell The Gender Of The People It’s About
I need to know which is male and which is female so I can know who is right and who is wrong in the comic strip.
3. Sometimes They Talk About Politics
Talking about politics anywhere outside of your den with other rich white land owners is just unseemly.
4. In One Of The Comics I Saw It Had Children In It, Which Means At Some Point Someone Had Sex
I don’t want to see this hyper-sexualized garbage flaunting around its free-love sex orgy agenda. I abstain whether I want to or not, and so should everyone else!
5. No One Is Wearing Pants
Just…disgusting. I haven’t not worn pants in 23 years.
6. It Takes Place In New Orleans
No one wants to think about New Orleans. Ever.
